Greendell schedules group visits to the maze during the week. All schools, organizations and parties are welcome. Call in advance to schedule your group's outing today!

Build a Scarecrow Contest!

FREE TO ENTER / CONTEST RULES

1. All entries must fit within a 4 x 4 foot area. Scarecrows need to be set up at Greendell Mulch & Mix on Saturday, September 27, 2008; from 8am until 4:30pm. Alternate set up times can be arranged the following week during normal business hours. Deadline October 3, 2008.

2. Phone us today and reserve your space. Upon arrival please report to the Garden Center for your assigned location and entry number for voting. Winner will receive a $100.00 Greendell Gift Certificate and will be notified by phone on November 3, 2008.

3. No flammable objects or gas powered generators are allowed to be part of your scarecrow display nor will humans be able to facilitate the display.

4. Scarecrows must be done in good taste & need to be constructed to withstand the weather. We reserve the right to remove any scarecrow that does not meet these standards.

5. You may bring a light-weight plastic tarp large enough to cover your entry in case of rainy weather. Greendell will do their best to help out but, we are not responsible for any loss or damage to entries.

6. Only one entry per local school classrooms, businesses or organization.

7. Scarecrow judging is done by popular vote. Winner to be announced on October 31st, 2008 at 7pm.

8. Scarecrows should be picked up starting the first week of November. All scarecrows not picked up will be composted after November 7th, 2008.
